A great time was had by all.
On the 24th of September The Salon hosted a Hair and fashion Show in aid of the Rowans Hospice. The Salon raised the significant amount of £1,700, which they know the hospice will make great use of.
Sophie Brenton (Manager) said, “The Salon has always been supported by the local community, and as we are celebrating our 30th year of trading we decided to give something back. The Rowans Hospice does a brilliant job, helping many local families in their hour of need, so The Salon team decided to donate the money to them.”
The salon demonstrated their skills by showcasing hair designs from the 1920,s through to the present day, a great selection of prom hair looks, and fabulously glamorous and romantic wedding hair. Moyra from ‘Vintage and Vogue’ of Petersfield generously lent out some remarkable outfits, and The Rowans Trading Company supplied the wedding dresses.
This was followed by a professional fashion show company, and all (and more) of the clothes displayed were on sale afterwards.
Many turned out to support The Rowans, including many of the local mayors. Thanks must also go to The Hampshire Galaxy girls, who provided great support, even down to folding the raffle tickets!
Not only did all The Salon team enjoy the challenge, but all that attended gave amazing feedback, and asked for a repeat evening!
